Fall Wedding at Woodhaven B&B & Event Venue | Schellsburg, Pa Wedding Photographer
Some weddings simply capture everything there is to love about fall in Pennsylvania, and Eli and Emily's wedding day was one of those celebrations.
On October 11, 2025, family and friends gathered to celebrate these two as they exchanged vows surrounded by the beautiful fall colors overlooking Schellsburg, Pennsylvania. The ceremony took place on family property with sweeping views of the surrounding mountains, creating the perfect backdrop for such a meaningful day.
Emily looked absolutely stunning in her wedding gown, complete with a breathtaking cathedral veil that became one of my favorite details of the day. The length and elegance of her veil created endless opportunities for romantic portraits, especially as the soft autumn sunlight filtered through the trees. Some of my favorite images from the day came during these quiet moments when Eli and Emily were able to step away together and simply soak in the excitement of becoming husband and wife.
The bridesmaids wore gorgeous velvet dresses in a rich burnt orange color that perfectly complemented the season. It was such a beautiful choice for an October wedding and tied together the warm autumn colors found throughout the entire day.
One of the most emotional moments came before the ceremony during Emily's first look with her dad. Standing together on the wraparound porch of the historic home at Woodhaven B&B & Event Venue, there wasn't a dry eye in sight. These are the kinds of moments that remind me why I love documenting weddings—the genuine emotion that can never be recreated.
Following the ceremony, everyone made their way to Woodhaven B&B & Event Venue for the reception. If you're planning a wedding in Central Pennsylvania, Woodhaven is truly a hidden gem. The beautifully restored barn offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and timeless elegance, while the bridal suite inside the historic home provides a comfortable and beautiful space for getting ready with your closest friends and family.
As the evening unfolded, laughter filled the reception hall. Eli and Emily shared one of the funniest cake-cutting moments I've photographed, complete with a memorable cake smash that had everyone smiling. Soon after, the dance floor filled with family and friends ready to celebrate. Emily's parents wasted no time getting everyone out on the dance floor, and the energy throughout the evening never slowed down.
One of my favorite moments of the reception was capturing Eli and Emily's first dance together. The soft lighting inside the restored barn created such a romantic atmosphere, allowing for timeless black-and-white photographs that beautifully reflected the love and joy they shared.
From the breathtaking mountain views and heartfelt family moments to the incredible celebration that followed, Eli and Emily's wedding was filled with everything that makes a wedding day unforgettable. It was an honor to be trusted with documenting every laugh, every tear, and every beautiful moment in between.
